This week we are introducing improvements to the Roomscanner as well as an updated Procasa library. Here is an overview of all the changes.

Improved Procasa Matching

Type: Improvement

The automatic matching of Procasa articles has been further improved – for even more reliable and accurate assignments in your projects.

FBX Import Issue Fixed

Type: Improvement

An existing issue causing the FBX import to produce incorrect texture scaling has been resolved. FBX files can now be uploaded without the "Generate UV Mapping" import option, allowing attached textures to be displayed exactly as prepared in the FBX.

New Look and New Tools in the Floorplanner

Type: Improvement

The Floorplanner user interface has received an update and the overall usability has been optimised.

In addition, it is now possible to toggle the door leaf on and off for doors, as well as define the height of windows and windowsills.

Automatic Wall Splitting in the Roomscanner

Type: New Feature

In the Roomscanner, walls are now automatically split when uploaded. This enables differentiated materialisation of the upper and lower wall surfaces.

If you do not want the wall to be split, simply apply the same material to both surfaces.

Note: We are currently gathering further feedback on the preferred split height and default materials. Further adjustments will follow.
