HEGIAS Webportal - Overview

1. Organization and project

Use the two dropdown menus at the top to switch between organizations and projects.

Organization: In the "Welcome" area you will find demo scenes that you can explore without a subscription. To get to know the features of HEGIAS, select the "Welcome" organization. There you will find sample scenes and tutorials. If you want to upload and edit projects yourself, you must belong to an organization. You can either create one yourself (this requires a subscription) or be invited or added to an existing one. You can also belong to several organizations.

Project: A project is the next level in the hierarchy after the organization. "All projects" shows all projects of the selected organization. Select a single project to display its scenes. Within a project, you upload your 3D plans as scenes, walk through them, edit them and share them.

2. Project overview

Here you manage and find your projects.

• Refresh: Reloads the project list.
• Add new (+): Creates a new project. Scenes are uploaded within a project (More information on importing a scene).
• Search: Search for projects.
• Filter: Narrow down the displayed projects by creator: "All projects", "Created by me", "Created by admin users", "Created by senior users" or "Created by junior users".
• Sorting: Change the order of the projects, by date or alphabetically.
• Project card: Click the image to open the project. Below the name you can see when the project was last updated.
• Three dots: Use them to copy, delete, edit and move the project.

3. User menu

Click your name in the top right corner to open the menu:

• Library: Here you will find 3D objects such as furniture, accessories etc., as well as materials that you can use in a scene. You can upload your own objects and materials and choose whether they are public or private, i.e. only available to your organization.
• Admin Organization: Besides the organization's data, here you change the permissions of team members and invite new ones. You can also see your current subscription and upgrade it at any time.
• Your user account: All settings for your personal HEGIAS user account.
• Log out: Logs you out of HEGIAS.

4. Change project image

Click the pencil icon to change the project's preview image (thumbnail). Below the image you can also see how many scenes are available in the project.

5. BCF function

Here you can connect directly to BIMcollab. You can find more information under Setting up BIMcollab for BCF issue management.
