Object editing - Designing the scene

The scene provides you with many tools to easily set up and design it with objects.

The following article gives an overview of these tools and explains their functions.

  1. Move

Move the selected object along the X, Y or Z axis using the gizmo by clicking on the arrows and moving the mouse.

You can also use the grey areas to move the object along two axes simultaneously.


  1. Rotate

Rotate the object along the three axes using the advanced rotation gizmo by clicking on one of the rings and moving the mouse.


  1. Scale

Scale the object using the arrows in the direction of the respective axis. Use the white endpoints to scale the object uniformly.

You can also use the grey areas to scale the object on two axes simultaneously.


  1. Copy

Copy the current selection of objects in the scene.


  1. Delete

Remove the current selection of objects from the scene.


  1. Replace

When the replace function is activated, you can replace the selected object directly with a click in the object library.


  1. Magnet function

The magnet function allows you to position objects precisely.

When moving, they automatically dock to walls, floors or other surfaces, making it easier to align them exactly.


  1. Distance measurement

Use this switch to switch between measuring the distance between object centres or outer edges.


  1. Standard height

Click on the icon to reset the selected object to the stored standard height.
