Interior-Mode - Furnishing and Designing

In the scene, you have many tools to easily furnish and design it with objects.
The following article gives an overview of these tools and explains their functions.

For information on how to edit multiple objects at once, see also: Multiselect and Object Alignment

Holding the CTRL key allows multiple objects to be selected at once.

Object Panel

As soon as an object is selected, the Object panel appears in the top right with the name of the object and the following tools:

Move
Move the selected object along the X, Y or Z axis using the gizmo by clicking on the arrows and moving the mouse.
You can also use the grey surfaces to move the object on two axes at once.

Rotate
Rotate the object along the three axes with the extended rotation gizmo by clicking on one of the rings and moving the mouse. Alternatively, the values for X, Y and Z can be entered directly in the panel.

Scale
Scale the object using the arrows in the direction of the respective axis. Use the white endpoints to scale the object uniformly.
You can also use the grey surfaces to scale the object on two axes at once. Alternatively, width, depth and height can be entered directly in the panel.

Copy
Copies the current selection of objects in the scene.

Reset to mounting height
Click the icon to reset the selected object to its stored mounting height. This is especially useful for products with a stored mounting height.

Delete object
Removes the current selection of objects from the scene.

Adjust object
Leads directly to the object and its variants in the Library, if available.

The Adjust object button is only available for objects in the Bad category.

Navigation

With the icons at the top of the Configurator, you can switch the view mode. You can also move around the scene using the floorplan on the right.

Replace

The object selected can be replaced directly via the icon on the object tile in the Library.

Tools at the bottom left

Further tools are available via the menu at the bottom left:

  • Magnet function

With the magnet function, objects can be positioned precisely. When moving, they dock automatically onto walls, floors or other surfaces, which makes exact alignment easier. The function can be toggled on and off in the menu at the bottom left.

  • Distance measurement

With this switch, you toggle between object centres, outer edges and hidden. The tooltip shows the next state in each case.
