Permissions
The following article explains how individual permissions can be distributed at organisational level as well as project level and what influence these permissions have on the insight and possibilities of the users.
To access the overview of the various permissions, the option "Admin Organisation" must be selected in the drop-down menu under your user profile (upper right-hand corner of the screen):
Via permissions at the organisational level, the Owner and the Admins have the possibility to invite further members to the organisation. As soon as the information is filled in and the new member is invited, an invitation is sent via email. After creating a HEGIAS user account, the person is then directly in the organisation as a member with the corresponding role - but "only" in the organisation. In order to ensure access to the individual projects, the rights for the individual projects must still be distributed (see next point "Permissions at project level"). However, there is one exception: If a new member is assigned the role Admin, this member is automatically entered as "Admin" for all projects as well.

At organisation level, the roles Guest, Junior and Senior have no further rights.
Members with the roles Owner or Admin have the possibility to add further members to the organisation or to remove them. In addition, the Owner of an organisation can manage it, i.e. he can delete the organisation in question, change information about the organisation and manage the organisation's subscription to HEGIAS.
At project level, the Owner and all admins also have the option of restricting access for members of the organisation. It is important to note that the person must already be a member of the organisation before they can be selected in the drop-down menu.

As a Guest, a user can view content but not modify it. Users of a HEGIAS subscription can invite any number of people to view their objects on the HEGIAS platform as guests. Every user of a HEGIAS subscription is himself automatically a guest in the Welcome Organization, where sample scenes and sample apartments can be explored.
As a Junior, a user can use all the basic functions of the HEGIAS platform. Scenes, objects and materials can be viewed, edited, created and copied. All changes made to a scene are saved as a copy. The original scene cannot be overwritten by a junior. In addition, he/she can invite guests to view objects on the HEGIAS platform, for which an invitation link must be created.
As a Senior, a user can, in addition to the permissions of a junior, overwrite an original scene without creating a copy of this scene.
As an Admin, a user has administrative rights in addition to the permissions of a senior. An Admin can add people to organizations and assign them user profiles.
As an Owner, in addition to the permissions of an admin, a user can delete organizations, edit account information, and manage their subscription.
