Configurator - Quick Guide

With the new HEGIAS.configurator you can create and design spaces in no time – including from scanned rooms that you have uploaded with the HEGIAS.roomscanner.

Switch between Plan and Interior mode to change your workspace

• The Modify Rooms (Plan mode) feature provides tools to:
• • draw and adjust your floor plan
  • add doors and windows
• The Modify Interior (Interior mode) feature gives you access to additional design tools such as:
• • the library with objects, materials and light sources
  • the floor plan to navigate the space via a 2D or 3D overview
  • the Navigator for high-quality visualisation
  • the Viewpoints to guide your wayfinding and presentation
  • the share function to create links for your customers and partners
  • the georeferencing for realistic views, sunlight and shadow casting

Furnish, design and illuminate your space

• Drag objects, materials and light sources directly from the library into your scene ==> Use filters and categories to navigate the library quickly
• Select an object, material or light source and adjust it with the tools in the top-right menu ==> the editing options shown change depending on your selection
• Use light sources for the HEGIAS.navigator to stage your project ==> Open the Navigator to view your lighting selection realistically
• Georeference your project in Swisstopo and Google Earth for realistic embedding and views, as well as sunlight and shadow casting at any time of day throughout the year
