Streaming with Meta Quest

The following article describes how to connect the Meta Quest 2, 3 or Pro to a monitor.

Important: Make sure that both the Meta Quest and the display device are on the same WiFi network. If this is not the case, this is the main source of error for a faulty streaming connection.

A. Mobile or tablet with the Meta Quest App

To do this, open the Meta Quest App on your mobile device and log in with the same Meta Account you use for Meta Quest.

B. Computer with Internet browser (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge only)

Open the browser on your computer and go to https://www.oculus.com/casting and log in with your Meta Account. If it does not work try to reload the browser (F5 key).

C. TV with Google Chromecast

If you have a TV with Google Chromecast, the glasses can stream to this display device. It is important that the Google Chromecast is also on the same WiFi network as the Meta Quest glasses. Here you can find more information about the Google Chromecast

Let's go!

If you have one of the three display devices and have opened it according to the instructions above, you are now ready to set up the Meta Quest. In the main menu (which you can access with the Oculus button on the right controller), a selection menu appears. There you can directly start streaming in the upper area, where the currently running HEGIAS app is displayed:

1. Select the stream button

2. Select display device to stream
