# Multiselect and object alignment

In the editor, you can **select and edit multiple objects at the same time**.
You can also **align objects precisely**, which helps you position one object exactly above the centre of another, for example.

1. **Select multiple objects (multiselect)**

Hold down the **Shift** key and click on the desired objects to add them individually to the selection.
Alternatively, hold down the **Ctrl** key and drag a **selection box** in the editor to **select multiple objects at once**.

You can then **move, rotate, copy or delete** the selected group – just like a single object.

2. **Align objects**

After selecting multiple objects, you can **align them with each other** using the **alignment tools** in the toolbar.
The objects are placed **on the left, right or centre within the shared selection box**.
