# Create a User Account

The following article describes how to create a free HEGIAS user account. 

With your personal user account you will have access to the HEGIAS Welcome area, you can create your own organization or join an existing one. 

1. Visit our website: [www.hegias.com](https://hegias.com/)

2. Click on **Login** in the upper right corner.

3. Click on **Create user account** under "Login".

4. Fill out the form and confirm your input with **Register**.

5. Confirm your e-mail address using the confirmation link you received. Click on the **Activate account** button.

6. Now you can log in with your new user account on [www.app.hegias.com](https://app.hegias.com/).
